One of the greatest pieces of advice I give my students is to verbalize EVERYTHING. When leaning anatomy, you must utilize as many sensory anchors as you can. You incorporate vision when you read and look at things, touch when you feel the models or a structure on yourself and auditory stimulation occurs when you say it out loud. Talk to your dog about anatomy, to your mother, brother, cereal, shower head....keep talking out loud about human anatomy!
